Area of triangles and trapezoids
Trapezoid: A 4 sided figure with one pair of parallel sides.
Triangle: A three sided figure with three angles..
To calculate areaa of a triangle find the length of a base and the hight of the base. Substitute in the formula:
A=1/2b*h
To calculate thee area of a trapezoid find the length of both sides and the height. Substitute in the formula:
A=1/2 h(b1+b2)
