Imperialism: Is the seizure of a country or territory by a stronger country.
The stronger country dominates the social, economic, and pollitical life of weaker nation.

The industrial revolution led to imperialism.

4. Humanitarian reasons that were really racist.
Robert Clive promoted British control in India.
The Colinization of India: Europeans competed for India colonies.
France had trading post in India but in the 1600's the British East Indian Company began trading in India and other areas in Asia.

Character vs. Character: The character has a problem with one or more characters in the story.
Character vs. Self: The character has a physical or an inner mental or emotional problem.
Character vs. Society: The character has a problem with a part of society
(government, school,tridition, etc.)
Character vs. nature: The character has a problem caused by some force of nature (cold, storm, etc.)
Character vs. fate: The character has a problem with a force such as fate, luck, or God

Trapezoid: A 4 sided figure with one pair of parallel sides.
Triangle: A three sided figure with three angles..
To calculate areaa of a triangle find the length of a base and the hight of the base. Substitute in the formula:
A=1/2b*h
To calculate thee area of a trapezoid find the length of both sides and the height. Substitute in the formula:
A=1/2 h(b1+b2)

-when adding integers and signs are different , subtract an keep the sign of the bigger number
-when subtracting integers keep the first number the same, change subtraction to addition, change 2nd number to the inverse.
-When multiplying and dividing: same sign positive, different sign negative.
